Girls Night Out

If your girls saw the movie Kit Kittredge: An American Girl and are hungry for more, bring them and their little Josefina or Kit to the Grosse Pointe War Memorial’s night out 6-9 p.m. Aug. 14. Girls ages 6-9 are invited to dress up with their doll for the party. They will learn about growing up to be who they want to be, and make a craft for themselves and their doll. The event is $25, and girls should bring a snack. The event is at 32 Lakeshore Drive in Grosse Pointe Farms. Parking is free.
